THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon has applauded the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for building the first DSS office complex in Alimosho Local Government. He then appealed to Sanwo -Olu to construct the Ifenirepo street road which leads to the new DSS office complex.
While speaking at the event, the council boss said; “The construction of this edifice in Alimosho Local Government, the first of its kind, gives us the hope that our efforts towards voting massively for you three years ago were not in vain.
"The presence of the council chairmen, the Royal fathers from the entire Alimosho LGA, political leaders, youth leaders, market men and women, party faithful, and others is a clear testimony of our love for the party and its leaders at the federal, state and local government levels.”
While speaking at the occasion, His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Mr Tayo Ayinde, appreciated the people of Alimosho LGA for their support during his first tenure, adding that his victory at the state APC primary election could only have been possible because of the support from the people of Alimosho LGA.
The Governor then emphasized the need for everybody to be security conscious at all times, form a formidable Vigilante group, and inform the security personnel of any breach of law.
He also emphasized the need for collaboration between all the security personnel in the LGA in order to create a safe environment for everybody to live freely.
The Member, Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency 1, Hon. Bisi Yusuf commended the Governor for giving back to Alimosho and for making the safety of his citizens a priority.
On his part, His Royal Majesty, the Elegbeda of Egbeda Kingdom, HRM Oba Hameed Omogoriola Orelope-Laka warned criminals in the Alimosho Local Government area to look for meaningful jobs to do and stop engaging in any act of criminalities.
The Director of DSS, who was represented by the Deputy Director, Mrs Funmi Akinloye promised to put the office complex to good use, adding that the personnel will ensure that security is enhanced in Alimosho LGA as a whole.

Tosin Fatoki; market leaders; political leaders; youth leaders.
