IN preparation for the Year 2024 budget, the Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, has invited all stakeholders to the Local Government Secretariat to register their needs, which will eventually translate to a working document for the fiscal year.
The stakeholders, who include the traditional rulers, religious leaders, artisans and traders, market coordinators, youths, teachers, and so on, spoke on what they wish would form part of the 2024 budget as it affects them.
According to most of them, the Council Boss has been making remarkable efforts since 2021, when he returned as the Council Chairman. His efforts have been felt in the areas of education, religious affairs, infrastructure, health, welfare, and humanitarian affairs.
While they want the Chairman to do more in these aforementioned areas, they also want him to take care of other areas of development not mentioned in the Year 2024.
