IN continuation of his administration's food support palliatives, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, has distributed about five thousand food packs to indigent Alimosho residents.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the distribution occurred at the Alimosho Local Government Secretariat, Akowonjo, where various local groups were given food packs in batches.
However, speaking with newsmen during the distribution, the Council Boss said that one of the core interests of his administration is to ensure that the residents are not hungry, especially during this period of economic hardship.
He added, “food is a drug on its own. Therefore, when food is available, sickness gets more preventable.”
