LIKE all other All Progressives Congress (APC) party members in Alimosho, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon attended the APC Alimosho Federal Constituency meeting held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Akinogun Primary School in the Mosan-Okunola LCDA.
Reports reaching Alimoshotoday state that while speaking at the meeting, the Alimosho APC Apex Leader, Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo, who also doubles as the Chairman of the BATCO Mandate Group, said; "Do not forget that when Asiwaju became the Governor of Lagos State in 1999, Lagos was in a mess economically. He raised the bar of governance and consequently improved the condition of the state which was improved upon till it started a competition with other nations far ahead of other states in terms of economic progress.
"Let all other candidates put forward what they have on the table. Asiwaju has all the credentials required for the office. He has done it before! Doing it again is the simplest task."
Enilolobo then affirmed that all other candidates of the party are also worthwhile. "Sanwo-Olu came at a most challenging period, yet he performed; Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule was a former Deputy Governor with proven credentials; and Barr. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba was a former SA to the Governor and so on.
“All of them have done well for this state. So, vote for all the candidates of our great party in the 2023 general elections," he stated.
He subsequently requested support and vote for all APC candidates such as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for President; Gov. Sanwo-Olu for Governor; Dr Idiat Adebule for Senate (Lagos-west); Hon. Ganiyu Adele (Mayor KK) for House of Representatives in Alimosho Federal Constituency; Hon. Lukman Orelope for House of Assembly, Alimosho 01; and Hon. Kehinde Joseph (JK) for House of Assembly 02.
All the candidates were presented to the party members and they unanimously promised their support. The meeting had, in attendance, over 30 thousand APC party members.
