The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon Jelili Sulaimon, has congratulated the newly-appointed Rector of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Dr Nurudeen Olaleye.
The statement was contained in a press release signed by the SA Media to the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Ayinde Jamiu Kunle.
According to Ayinde, Hon. Jelili said: "Dr. Nurudeen's antecedent as a mentor, social worker, educator per excellence and administrator is rare to find in a single personality. We have no doubt that this is the beginning of a new era in LASPOTECH.
"Dr Nurudeen has contributed so well in various capacities to Alimosho Local Government. We are proud of him and we believe that he will make us proud by changing the narratives for excellence.
"We appreciate the Executive Governor for finding him worthy."
Dr. Olaleye's appointment was approved by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday, November 22, 2020 as the 11th Rector of the institution.
