SEQUEL to the earlier publication on the reconstruction of Adebanjo Street/Godilove Road, Egbeda, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon, on Monday, January 31, 2022, commenced the concrete casting of the drainage as a prelude to the rehabilitation of the road.
According to information gathered from the project supervisor, who wished to remain anonymous, by the AlimoshoToday’s correspondent, some part of the street was barricaded from motorists and motorcyclists to guarantee the safety of the construction workers.
The project supervisor affirmed that the barricade will be lifted at the end of today, adding that there might be future barricades when the other parts of the street are being reconstructed.
The total reconstruction of the road is scheduled to span across a period of six months.
