Following the alleged shootings and casualties at the Lekki Toll Gate and Alausa, the #ENDSARS protest has entered the streets from the highways.

AlimoshoToday noticed roadblocks and a total ban on vehicular movement on some streets in Egbeda, as some youths were seen enforcing the no-movement order.

Initially, it was mistaken for enforcing compliance with the imposed curfew by the Lagos State Government, but the conversation that ensued between the youths and a motorcyclist gave a clearer picture of the entire scenario.

One of the youths said in pidgin English: "If you had all come out to join in the #ENDSARS protest, lives wouldn't have been lost. Since you didn't participate, we are bringing it here to you. You must all join us in this fight to #ENDSARS".

After several appeals by the man for the youths to allow him engage in his daily activities, explaining that he was simply running errands for a shop owner on the street, the adamant youths still refused to remove the barricade for the motorcyclist to continue his journey  as at 11:00 am, the time of filing this report.
