IN response to the request of the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon Jelili Sulaimon, for the Alimosho Community Development Committee (CDC) to ensure a speedy replacement of the late CDC Chairman, Deacon Moses Adeniyi Aluko, the executives of the CDC on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the chairman’s office in the council secretariat appointed a new chairman to lead the house.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that two members from the same community as the late chairman were identified for the position in a bid to ensure that the position remains in the community of origin of the late chairman. These members are, Venerable Adetunji Adewuyi and Deaconess B.T Abiola.
An executive member, Pastor Wale Adisa Olaogun, however, nominated Venerable Adetunji Adewuyi for the position and his nomination was thereafter put into a motion. The motion was moved by Alhaji Ibrahim Malaika and seconded by Deaconess B.T Abiola, and was hereafter unanimously adopted by all CDC executive members present.
In his acceptance speech, Venerable Adetunji Adewuyi appreciated the trust reposed in him and requested the cooperation and support of all executives in order to move the association forward.
