THE newly-inaugurated executives of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to Alimosho Local Government on Wednesday.
The team was received by the Supervisor of Health, Hon Abolade Rasheed and the immediate past coordinator of NYCN Alimosho Branch.
Hon Abolade congratulated the team and assured them that Hon Jelili Sulaimon’s administration will continuously support the youth.
The State Chairman, Comrade Biliamin Oba said, "the NYCN leadership message is clear, we are committed to change the narrative of youths in Lagos State. No state thrives without taking good care of its youth."
He advocated that the government should create an enabling environment for young people, grants should be initiated for startups and young people with ideas.
The vice chairman of Lagos West, Comrade Jamiu Ademosu commended the warm reception given to the Council by Alimosho Local Government. He also commended the level of youth involvement in the current administration.
The visit was attended by others from NYCN Lagos State which included Comrade Akinwunmi, Miss Olaide Yusuf, Ambassador Abiodun Ajayi, Comrade Jamiu Ademosu and Comrade AbdulHakeem Agbaje.
