Alimosho Local Government Chairman, Hon Jelili Sulaimon has brought the dividends of democracy to residents of Fagbola Street in Akowonjo, with the completion of the road and drainage for public use.
AlimoshoToday had reported that the road construction project, under the tripartite effort of the Lagos State Government, Alimosho Local Government and Councillor of Ward A, Hon. Bolaji Yusuf was nearing completion.
Fagbola Street project is a 342 meters drainage and 171 by 8 meters interlocking road construction. The new road will ease the traffic along Akowonjo and Shasha Roads.
Residents of the street appreciated the Chairman, Hon. Sulaimon and Lagos State government for providing social infrastructure in their community.
Hon. Bolaji Yusuf, the Councillor representing Ward A, who was highly elated,said: "I am grateful to Almighty Allah for making this project a reality during my tenure. I urge the residents of Fagbola to safeguard the project".
