THE Executives of the Alimosho LGA Community Development Committee (CDC) on Thursday, June 23, 2022, gathered at Alimosho Local Government Secretariat to pray for the nation, Nigeria.
According to reports, the prayer session, themed ‘Heal our Nation’ featured the convergence of religious leaders from Islam, Christianity and Traditional religion.
The purpose of the prayer session is to pray against all forms of unrest and insecurity plaguing the nation.
The prayer session was graced by the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, who was represented by the Supervisory Councillor for Agric, Youth & Social Services, Hon. Goke Shosanya; the CDC's first Vice-Chairman, Chief Jolaoso; the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman, Pastor Rogho Akpoidolor; the League of Imam, Alimosho LGA Chairman, Alhaji Mukaila Salaudeen; the HOD Agric; among others.
