AN accident which happened at Okunola area of Egbeda today caused a major gridlock along the axis.
The accident involving a truck and a Toyota Camry salon car occurred around 3:50 at Okunola Bus-Stop.
Scene of the accidentAccording to eyewitnesses, the truck loaded with drinks lost control and fell on the Camry car.
A salon owner who didn't disclose her identity told AlimoshoToday: " I was fixing nails for my customer and talking to her.
"Everything just happened like that.
"I just heard a long sound and I saw that the truck has fallen on the car.
"I am just thankful that the car-owner is safe even though his car is badly damaged.

At the time of filing this report, motorists are still held up in the gridlock as drivers are forced to pass through a single lane of the road inwards Isheri from Egbeda.
Traffic officers are also on ground controlling the traffic situation. However, evacuation of the truck and car has not started despite claims that calls have been put out to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).
