PRINCE Idris Balogun (Oluomo), a Chairmanship hopeful in the Egbe-Idimu LCDA had, on Friday, May 24, 2024, at his White Royal Hotel in Isheri olofin, Lagos, made his aspiration known to some APC party faithful of the Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola faction under the Coordination of Abdulahi Enilolobo, who had come around to familiarise with him for his numerous philanthropical gestures towards the vulnerable not only in Egbe-Idimu LCDA but Alimosho at Large.
The Chairmanship hopeful revealed to the new entrants of the Asiwaju Solidarity Movement that he has embarked on an extensive consultation and meetings with leaders and a majority of relevant stakeholders in the community and it's time to unveil the project to the people.
Oluomo said: "On this day, May 24, 2024, I, Prince Idris Balogun (Oluomo Kafata), have decided to break my silence and address rumours concerning my aspiration as regards the Egbe-Idimu LCDA Chairmanship position.
“It is my delight to offer myself as the tool to liberate our people to prosperity by vying for the Chairmanship position of Egbe-Idimu LCDA.
“I am assuring my people that I will be running a people's friendly administration with periodic and constant youth and women empowerment. An overhauling of infrastructural projects, including free primary healthcare for all residents (especially indigent ones) and non-discriminatory welfare provisions for party faithful while ensuring even distribution of modern infrastructure across the five wards in the LCDA. These will be among the key agendas of my administration.
“By the grace of God, through your support, we shall restore the lost glory of the Egbe-Idimu LCDA to the league of performing LCDAs/ LGAs in our dear State."
Prince Idris Balogun (Oluomo Kafata) also promised the optimal utilisation of allocations and Internally Generated Revenue for the betterment of the constituents.
He, therefore, called on all well-meaning members of APC, as well as all residents of the Egbe-Idimu LCDA to support his aspiration as his goal is to deliver good governance to the people at the grassroots level.
