THE Executive Chairman of EgbeIdimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO) has called on all the residents of Nigeria to vote for the collective good of the nation just as he thanked them for their support and for keeping faith with his programmes and policies since the commencement of his administration.

In commemoration of the 62nd national Independence Day celebration on Saturday, October 1, 2022, KSO implored residents of EILCDA, especially the youths, to take up the mantle of making “Nigeria great again,” and look beyond the slogan “If you can’t beat them, join them.”

He also urged the youths to always stand up for what is right, fair, and just and that they should not allow themselves to be used by mischievous politicians to cause havoc in society during the forthcoming general elections.

He stated further that Nigerians must use their electoral power to elect those who have what it takes to move the nation forward on the path of sustainable growth and development, maintaining that the present administration would continue to be a shining example of progressive and inclusive governance and that citizens must continue to work hard to sustain the mutual trust and confidence between the government and the people.

The council helmsman also commended governments across all levels, as well as other well-meaning Nigerians for exhibiting the spirit of brotherhood, for their perseverance and spirit of togetherness that has kept the nation together since independence in 1960.

He then encouraged residents to forge ahead in the task of nation-building, renew their faith and continue to believe in the nation as this is the place of comfort, home and motherland.
