THE Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo, on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, inaugurated the newly appointed Executive Members of the council area as the appointees were officially screened by the councillors and sworn in at the council secretariat.
According to reports, the Executive Chairman in his keynote address charged the appointees to shun negative advice as victory to one is victory to all.
He also implored them to remain an indivisible team and work in unity, emphasizing that the confidence and trust reposed in them should be justified.
KSO then urged the appointees to be above board in their dealings because to whom much is given, much is equally expected.
In accordance, the Oath of Office was administered by Barr. Mesewaku Stephen, the Council Legal Officer while the oath of secrecy was led by Barrister Bukola Alade.
The newly appointed Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Noah Surakat and who responded on behalf of others, lauded the efforts of the chairman and all the political icons in Egbe-Idimu LCDA.
Present at the event are the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Mutiu Adebiyi; Leader Of the house, Hon. Rufai Abidemi Ishola; HOA, Barr. Fasinu Kehinde Jacob; Party Chairman, Alhaji Akibu Saliu; Immediate Past Leader of the House, Hon. Taiwo Lasisi; Prince Idris Balogun, and other notable stakeholders.
