THE Mayor of Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO), celebrates workers on their annual May Day Celebration.
In a correspondence signed by Comrade Oyejobi Olakunle, the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, on Sunday, May 1, 2022, the Council Chairman in his goodwill message commends their tolerance, perseverance, hard work, dedication to duty, and commitment.
"You will agree with me that the success of government depends largely on the elasticity of efficiency of the public service.
“Every society must remember and appreciate its workers because they are the real heroes of the society. Workers' day is all about remembering and celebrating those who give their time, best efforts, and worked hard for the good of society.
“While we charge all workers to rededicate themselves to the ideals of hard work, efficiency, loyalty and honesty, as a government, we will continue to give due consideration to matters affecting the interest of workers and their welfare.
"I, therefore, identify with the entire workforce in Lagos State, especially Egbe-Idimu LCDA distinguished workers and share with you the mission to sustain and increase our wealth for the prosperity of all," he said.
