THE Executive Chairman of the Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO) has joined other Local Governments Areas in Lagos State in providing cash palliatives to residents, declaring that the economic situation of Nigeria is witnessing a downturn and all hands must be on deck to cushion the hardship.
During the distribution of the cash palliative that witnessed beneficiaries such as CDAs, Artisans, League of Imams & Alfas, CAN, market women and men and the physically challenged, KSO enjoined those present to check on friends, neighbours, and family, reiterating that this is a trying period for Nigeria and many have already fallen into depression. 
Furthermore, he promised that the cash presentation was in continuation of the monthly cash palliatives and that the distribution would continue.
Responding on behalf of the about 1000 beneficiaries, Mrs Ademola Aderongbe from Isheri Olofin Joint CDA expressed gratitude to the Chairman and his team for the kind gesture, bearing in mind the precarious situation of the country.
Present at the event were the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Mutiu Adebiyi; CDC Chairman, Hon. Rabiu Kazeem (KB1); APC EILCDA Chairman, Alhaji Akibu Soliu (Sanjay); Councillors; Supervisors; and host of others.
