Kehinde Joseph commissions Alagodo of Agodo ultra-modern new palace

THE Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency II, Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, has commended the Alagodo of Agodo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mudashiru Salaudeen Odejobi (Ajagungbade 1), and sons and daughters of Agodo Land for building a distinctive palace to the Agodo royalty.

Kehinde Joseph made this commendation while commissioning a newly-constructed ultra-modern palace of Alagodo of Agodo Kingdom yesterday, Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

Addressing the people at the commissioning ceremony, Kehinde Joseph said that the gesture would further cement the existing bond of unity, love, harmony and brotherhood among the sons and daughters of Agodo Land, in particular, and Egbe-Idimu, in general.

"I congratulate and thank Kabiyesi for bequeathing this iconic palace to the Agodo royalty. In many ways, this iconic abode speaks unequivocally of the reverence and invaluable worth of Kabiyesi and the Agodo royalty to the Agodo people," he said.

In his remarks, the Alagodo of Agodo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mudashiru Salaudeen Odejobi (Ajagungbade 1), said the construction of the palace was in furtherance of the demonstration of Agodo people to development and good things.

Oba Alagodo noted that the construction of the new palace would further enthrone the spirit of love, oneness and togetherness among the sons and daughters of the Kingdom.

The foremost traditional ruler commended the sons and daughters of Agodo Land for their team spirit that ensured the successful completion of the project.

In attendance was His Royal Majesty, Oba Lasisi Gbadebo Gbadamosi, Onigando of Igando Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Azeez Gbadabiu Asiwaju, Onikotun of Ikotun Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Ogunronbi, Onishasha of Shasha Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Hameed Omogoriola Orelope-Laka, and the Elegbeda of Egbeda Kingdom, among others.
