Idimu community appoints new ‘Baale’ from the Aro Chieftaincy Family.

The new Baale appreciated the entire family members and well-wishers for their support and pledged his commitment to the good standing of the community he now heads.

THE Idu Aro Compound, Idimu has presented High Chief Bakare Kamorudeen Oluwole from the Bakare branch of the Aro Chieftaincy family to His Royal Majesty, Oba Wahab Ayinde Balogun, the Onisheri Of Isheri Kingdom, as the ‘Baale of Oko Panu’.

The presentation was made, today, Friday, November 19, 2021, by the Olori Ebi, High Chief Adam Shakirudeen Olowolayaki (Aare of Idimu Kingdom).

During the presentation, the Aro of Idimu Kingdom, High Chief Bakare Yusuf Nojeem, gave a brief history of Oko Panu under the domain of the Isheri Olofin community and also mentioned that the newly appointed chief is the first chief of the Bakare Branch of the Aro Chieftaincy family which is made up of three families; Fasinro, Sanni and Bakare Branches.

After the presentation, the new ‘Baale’ was implored to make his reign a peaceful one for the residents of Oko Panu and the family also prayed fervently for him that the Lord Almighty will preserve his life to discharge his duties with sound health and enormous wealth.

In his response, High Chief Bakare Kamorudeen Oluwole, then appreciated the entire family members and well-wishers for their support and pledged his commitment to the good standing of Oko Panu. 

The coronation programme was led by Oba Lasisi Gbadamosi the Onigando Of Igando Kingdom, who was ably represented by Oba Azeez Gbadabiu Asiwaju the Onikotun Of Ikotun Kingdom.

Other royal fathers present at the event include; Oba Elewu, Oba Onishasha, Oba Elegbeda, Oba Onipaja, Oba Onimeiran and various Baales within Alimosho.
