THE Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Health matters of the Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Olubunmi. A. (BumajCreations) on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, shared some home remedy tips on the reduction of high blood pressure.

An online report made available for publication by the SSA reads; “Do you know that there are home remedies to reduce High blood pressure? 

“Here are some.
1. Walk and exercise regularly. 
2. Reduce sodium intake i.e processed can foods. 
3. Drink less alcohol. 
4. Eat more potassium-rich foods like greens and vegetables.
5. Learn to manage stress by listening to good music, swimming, hanging out and reaching out to friends. Talk, chat laugh and stay healthy.

6. Eat more dark chocolate or cocoa. 
7. Lose some weight 
8. Quit smoking. 
9. Cut added sugar/ refined carbohydrates.
10. Try deep breath exercise regularly.”
