A solar-powered borehole has been delivered to residents of the Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Alimosho Local Government by Senator Solomon Adeola.
The Lagos West District Senator Solomon Olamilekan, popularly known as Yayi, made this known in a statement yesterday.
He said that the borehole works with a solar system control which he facilitated.
The borehole project was handed over to the community yesterday by the Senator at 22, Hassan Balogun Avenue, Isheri Olofin in Egbe-Idimu, LCDA.
The Senator, who drank water from the flowing tap alongside other officials present at the commisioning, explained that the borehole project comes with a mini-treatment plant.
