Egbe-Idimu LCDA IOM volunteers holds monthly general meeting

THE Egbe-Idimu chapter of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) volunteers held its monthly regular meeting on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the private office of the CDC Chairman of Egbe-Idimu Lcda. 

In a correspondence signed by the Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Mr Rabiu Kazeem, the regular monthly strategic meetings which consist of the five (5) party chairmen and five (5) community leaders was conveyed to draw itineraries for community dialoguing towards the development of the various CDAs during the second quarter of the year.

The meeting also focused on the need to increase the awareness and sensitisation of the community on irregular migration and ways of curbing human trafficking.

The meeting also had in attendance the representative of the Council's National Orientation Agency (NOA) Mrs Olatunji who was present to deliver the inputs from the IOM.
