AS part of efforts to ensure the safety of lives in high-traffic communities, the Councillor representing Agodo, Egbe, and Bolorunpelu, Hon. Oshinowo Kabiru, has embarked on the second phase of the ongoing Speed Breaker/Bumps project.
While speaking during the commencement of the project recently, Oshinowo said: “I noticed that though the numbers of accidents have reduced since the invention of the first phase of the project, we are still getting calls and reports from the good people of my community that more bumps are needed.
“So I facilitated more speed breakers to reduce the accidents due to overspeeding of okadas and cars in the area, and to protect my people, especially the students who are usually victims of these accidents.
“I am using this medium to call on people of Agodo, Egbe, and Bolorunpelu to always reach out to me of any complaints in their area.”
It should be noted that the first phase of the project was completed a few months back.
