A truck belonging to the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) was reportedly involved in an accident yesterday evening, AlimoshoToday has learnt.
The accident happened around the NYSC Bus Stop at the right turning inwards Isheri Olofin Bus Stop in Egbe-Idimu LCDA of Alimosho Local Government.
An eyewitness at the accident scene, Babatunde Emmanuel, said: "It was reckless driving that made the LAWMA truck hit a kerosene-laden tanker at the NYSC Bus-Stop along Isheri-Igando Road..The driver was making a U-turn at the wrong place before crashing into the tanker."
A small crowd gathered at the scene of the accident An official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) also confirmed the incident.
The LAWMA driver, who was too shocked to speak, was shielded baby a small crowd of people.
