THE recently inaugurated All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos West Senatorial District Vice-Chairman, Chief Tunde Aboyade has declared that the era of political colonisation and marginalisation is over in Lagos APC.
Aboyade, who made this declaration during a courtesy visit to the palace of the Elegbe of Egbe, Oba Ashimiyu Dada-Otta on Saturday, March 19, 2022, reiterated that as the party continues its journey towards peace, reconciliation, and harmonisation, giving voice to all leaders and members are non-negotiable.
He said that the new APC state executives have the mandate to ensure that the law of the party which gives political autonomy to all local governments is respected.
Aboyade further assured all leaders and members that the new executives will do all within the confines of the law and the APC constitution to make the party stronger going into the 2023 elections.
On his visit to the Elegbe, Aboyade described the monarch as one of the foundation members of APC in Lagos State and Alimosho.
