VETERAN Nigeria rapper, Jude Abaga, best known as MI Abaga, is 40 years old today.
The rapper who has been active since 2004 till this date was the CEO of Chocolate City record label from 2015 to 2019 before launching his own label, Incredible Music, in 2020.
MI, who is often referred to as one of the best rappers in Africa, took to Instagram to celebrate himself on his birthday.
He wrote on one of his pictures uploaded on the social media platform
"40. Today I cross a personally joyful milestone: From henceforth, (the adages promise) life will begin. Without knowing it, that was my recent process to arrive here at this moment today. Shedding the old and making way for the new.
"I’m grateful for the walk here. I look around, locking eyes with all you who have refused to leave, adamant that I am worth the ride. And you are not wrong, but I am worth it because of you. If, for the road ahead, I can count on you...then my friends… let us forge ahead!! Bring it on.. let life begin"
MI has won numerous awards, including the Headies Award and the Nigeria Entertainment Award.
