THE organisers of the survival reality show have unveiled 20 contestants for this year's edition which will kick of on October 16th 2021.
The 20 contestants were selected from 20,000 applicants after the regional screening which lasted 4 days in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.
According to Gideon Okeke, the host of the show, out of 20 contestants unveiled for the 2021 Gulder Ultimate Search, only 16 have made it to the jungle, while the others will serve as wild cards on the show.
The 16 contestants who will venture into the jungle are Adewale Adedamola Thompson, Chidinma Okeibe, Damilola Odedina, Emmanuel Nnebe, Estima Edem, Gerald Odeka, Tosin Eniola, Umorean Iniabasi, Jennifer Okorie, Mfom Mikel Essien, Tubuchukwu, Olayinka Omeya, Omokhafe Racheal, Solomon Yankari, Opeyemi Ishmael, and Orevapghene Godswill.
The four contestants that are placed on wild cards are Samson Abah, Odudu Otu, Shalom Omoikhudu, and Osasere Ogbanile.
Okeke also noted that despite four contestants been placed as wild cards, one of them would be return home based on viewers voting.
