THE Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) bared its member-directors from working with actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing Sunday in a  press statement announced by its executives.

It appeared that the association banned the actresses for allegedly making disrespectful comments about the Yoruba film industry during the Baba Ijesha Saga.

Many feel that the association chose an unfair side against the actresses for speaking up against the alleged sex offender, Baba Ijesha.

Nigeria Comedian and actor, Debo Macaroni, was displeased with the decision and made his opinion known on twitter. He wrote:

"A press conference should have been held at the beginning of the whole thing, letting the public know TAMPAN’S stand on Baba Ijesha and the matters arising. If Iyabo Ojo went too far, so did Yomi Fabiyi. If we can demand accountability from the government, what about ourselves?"
