A mother of two has accused her live-in partner, a Lagos State police inspector identified as Kabiru Mustafa of allegedly subjecting her to domestic violence.

According to media reports, Kabiru and Oluwakemi Ajenifuja who aren’t officially married have been living together at their residence in the Ifo area of Ogun State for about six years.

However, Ajenifuja has called out Kabiru for being physically and verbally abusive towards her all through their relationship.

“When I met him, he was living in a rented apartment in Abaranje at Ikotun and together we built a house in Ifo. We have been together for six years and we have two kids.

“He constantly beats and humiliates me, he cheats on me with different women and each time I complain he reciprocates with beatings and abuse. This man comes to the house with charms and threatened to kill me with his service gun.

“The beatings were so frequent that two months ago I packed out of the house, thinking that is it. But, I was wrong. He has been threatening me that he will finish me. He said he will collect everything I worked so hard for; he said he will see me dead. As I speak to you, my life and that of my kids are in serious danger.

“I’m not trying to bring him down or make him lose his job, because I don’t have another job to give him if he loses his job, and most importantly, I don’t want to be evil like him, I just want to be saved. He should leave me and my kids alone,” she said tearfully.
