THE family house of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Lagos Island has been set ablaze.
This is coming hours after peaceful protesters who were stationed at the toll gate were shot at by armed forces at the Lekki toll gate.
The Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) building in Marina, Igando Police Station, TVC Headquarters and the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) terminal in Oyingbo were also set on fire by suspected hoodlums.
At least five police stations were also burnt in Lagos on Tuesday.
Tope Mark-Odigie, a TVC anchor, in an Instagram video, said the station was attacked by some hoodlums.
She also pointed out that the policemen stationed in the area took to their heels on seeing the mob.
Hoodlums have unleashed attacks on Nigerians protesting against police brutality and visiting violence on security formations.
There has been a general breakdown of law and order in the State.
