THE Lagos Police Command has announced the arrest of a 34-year-old man identified as Olamilekan Odofin for allegedly attacking motorists and officers during a rally in the State.
According to media reports, the Lagos Police Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the arrest, accused Odofin of championing attacks and violence.
Hundeyin said the suspect was arrested after one year of police trailing, adding that the Command has commenced an investigation.
Recall that on January 9, 2023, the agitators gathered around the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in the Ojota axis of Lagos for a “mega rally,” where they supposedly demanded a separate nation for the Yoruba people of Nigeria.
