The Lagos State University's (LASU) Extended Management has officially put off her 24th Convocation Ceremonies indefinitely because of unforeseen circumstances which have rocked the country in the past few weeks.

The Head Coordinator of LASU's Centre for Information Press and Public Relations, CIPPR, Mr Ademola Adekoya, made this known in a statement on Tuesday.

The university had originally fixed the ceremonies for between Friday, March 20, to Friday, March 27, 2020, before it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic to between Friday, October 30, and Friday, November 6, where it is now postponed again indefinitely.

Mr Ademola said: "The Lagos State University Extended Management at a meeting held with Deans of Faculties on Tuesday, 27th October 2020, decided that the forthcoming 24th Convocation Ceremonies of the University, earlier rescheduled to hold between Friday, 30th October and Friday, 6th November 2020, be postponed till further notice."

He said while the university management regretted any inconvenience the postponement might cause graduating students and their parents, the awardees and other stakeholders, a new date would be announced soonest.
