THE Lagos State Government has sealed the popular Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos due to the market’s “poor waste disposal practices” and “failure to pay waste bills.”
According to media reports, this development was announced by the State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, in a post on X on Monday morning.
The post read: “Alaba International Market, Ojo has been sealed up for poor waste disposal practices, failure to pay their waste bills and gross environmental sanitation offences.
The Alaba International Market joins the other sealed markets in Lagos, including Mile 12 International Market, Owode Onirin Market, Oyingbo Market, Alamutu Market, Ladipo Market, and Tejuosho Market.
