LAGOS 2023: Jandor picks #21 million PDP gubernatorial nomination form, says APC’s reign will end in 2023

Jandor has promised to deliver Lagos State to PDP in the 2023 gubernatorial election, affirming that the reign of the APC since 1999 will come to an end in 2023.

ABDUL AZEEZ Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, the Lagos4Lagos convener who recently defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, on Monday, March 21, 2022, picked up the #21 million nomination and expression of interest form to contest the 2023 governorship election in Lagos state.

Jandor, while speaking at the nomination event, promised to deliver Lagos State to PDP in the 2023 gubernatorial election.

He affirmed that the reign of the APC since the return of democratic governance to Nigeria in 1999 will come to an end in 2023.

Meanwhile, while speaking at the event, Hon. Setonji Koshoedo, the Deputy National Secretary of the party, said Jandor’s entrance into the gubernatorial race marks the beginning of a new dawn for PDP in Lagos.

Jandor who defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP in January this year was received by prominent leaders of the party which included the National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu; Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo; Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers; Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia; Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu; Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa,; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki; PDP National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu; Chief Olabode George among others.
