THE Lagos Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arraigned a suspected internet fraudster, Ismailia Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha, over new money laundering charges to the tune of ₦6 billion on Tuesday, January 12, 2022.

Mompha was arrested on Monday, January 10, and is currently standing trial alongside his company, Ismalob Global Investment Limited, on a renewed eight-count charge bordering on cyberfraud and money laundering.

Ismailia Mustapha, was arraigned before Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court, sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
