THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested one Michael Jackson for his alleged involvement in internet fraud in Lagos on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Michael was arrested after EFCC officials got intelligence on the “illegal activities” of some individuals involved in computer-related fraud.
Jackson reportedly posed as Ella, a transgender woman, and has duped numerous victims of millions of naira.
He was also caught with some fetish items which he claimed were “for grace and success.”
According to EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, the investigation is still ongoing. Michael will be arraigned in court soon. A Toyota SUV, one Honda Accord, laptop computers, and a phone were recovered from the suspect.
