THE Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Interior and the Member of the House of Representatives representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor KK) has mourned the late Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Lagos State, HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, who joined his ancestors on April 10, 2024.

Ayuba said in a statement, "I received with shock and utter dismay the news of the transition of the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, Lagos State, HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III.

"I extend my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the late Osolo family, his friends, associates, the Yoruba-Awori race and people of Isolo Kingdom, the Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs, of which Oba Kabiru was the secretary, as well as the Government of Isolo Local Council Development Area and Lagos State on the departure of the monarch.4486

"The late highly revered monarch was an inspirational first-class traditional ruler, who rendered worthy service to his people and country, as well as contributed to the tremendous transformation and development of his community and Lagos State as a whole.

"The quintessential monarch left a huge vacuum. He was a good custodian and an exemplar of Yoruba culture and tradition. He will long be remembered for his wisdom, wealth of experience, and worthy and dedicated services to his community and the environs.

"I pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased. May God accept Kabiyesi’s soul into Aljanah Firdaus and uphold everyone and everything he left behind."
