Osimhen is Serie A’s highest-paid player

NAPOLI striker, Victor Osimhen is the highest-paid football player in the Italian league, Serie A, with a weekly wage of over £200,000, almost doubling his previous earnings.

The Super Eagles star man became a big earner in the Serie A when he signed a new contract in December, which saw the club commit to a pay of £253,005 per week for the 25-year-old’s service.

Compared to the rest of Europe league top earners (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1), Victor Osimhen earns the least as the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Kevin De Bruyne top the list.

Mbappe is the highest earner in the French Ligue 1 and also in Europe’s top five leagues, with a £1,182,110 weekly wage while the Manchester City playmaker is the highest earner in the Premier League, earning a £400,000 weekly wage.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker, who signed for Bayern this summer, Harry Kane is the highest earner in the German topflight with a wage of £410,455 per week, while Frenkie De Jong tops La Liga with a £615,682 wage.
