THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon recently charged the residents of Alimosho to use this period of Ramadan to share love among the people in their immediate environs and beyond.
A statement signed by the council boss wishing Alimosho residents Ramadan Kareem reads; “One of the biggest goals of Ramadan is to share love among the people. It is a time for us all to feel the same way, eat around the same time, drink at the same time, keep vigil and abstain from many similar things.
“It is a period for reflection and absolute understanding of what the poor and the needy are passing through.
“Sharing love at this time, therefore, becomes easy because we all are in the same shoes, the poor, the rich, the wealthy are all in the same situation and condition.
“Do not let this Ramadan pass you by without influencing a life positively!
“Happy Ramadan 1443AH, may Allah grant us the rewards therein.”
