Sarkin Alimosho visits Sanwo-Olu's aide, reiterates support for State govt

THE overall Sarki of Alimosho Local Government, who also doubles as leader and chairman of the assembly of Sarkis, under the aegis of the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa Community, Alimosho Local Government, Lagos, HRH Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, has paid a working visit to the office of the Senior Special Assistant on Sports to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Chief Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka.

 Adeyinka, who stated that he was honoured to have the overall Sarki of the great Alimosho local council visiting him, assured the royalty of his undiluted readiness to forge a progressive working relationship with the traditional council of the Arewas for a greater Lagos and a better Nigeria.

He also commended the Sarki for being a rallying point for the Arewa community within Alimosho local government and beyond, maintaining that he was a good news for the greater Lagos vision.

"I seize this opportunity to appreciate and commend our national leader, Jagaban Borgu, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the developmental legacies he has put in motion in Lagos and Nigeria, that has continued to advance the cause of human capital and economic rebirth and development," Adeboye echoed.

"I also want to use this great opportunity to unreservedly commend his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for the infrastructural regeneration he has brought to bear in record time in our dear state, Lagos; he deserves applause for clinically consolidating on the achievements of his predecessors and infact raising the bar excellently.

"The governor’s unshaken, tailored and steadfast onslaught against the Covid-19 pandemic has undoubtedly yielded massive success as evident in the drastic reduction in recorded cases on a continuous downward turn. I commend the Incident Commander and his entire team for a job well done," he also noted.

Responding through the Secretary of the Chieftaincy Council, Ibrahim A. Jagaba, Kuraja appreciated the warm reception by the SSA to the governor and reiterated the Chieftaincy Council’s unwavering readiness to give all the needed support to the Lagos State government to hit the greater Lagos vision in the shortest of time.

Kuraja added that the traditional institutions represent a very integral pillar in governance, going by the native influence it enjoys and thus a collaboration was very key to run a smooth society, the reason he has taken the responsibility to interface with all necessary MDA’S to give the Chieftaincy Council’s support under his stewardship.
