SEVERAL persons have been reported injured as two Bus Rapid Transit, known as BRT, were involved in a head-on collision on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in the Dopemu area of Lagos State.
According to media reports, the incident was disclosed by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, in an online video on its official X handle, where they confirmed that several persons were injured, and the incident had led to minimal traffic congestion along the axis.
Officers of LASTMA and men of the Nigerian Police Force were first responders at the scene.
As of the time of the filing this report, the buses have been removed and normalcy has returned to the area.
