THE Gubernatorial election is going down on Saturday! Lagosians are expected to throng to their various polling units to cast their votes.
Before we set out, Alimosho, let's declare the fact; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has done a whole lot for Lagos and deserves a second term.
Sanwo-Olu's administration, in the last four years, embarked on massive developmental civil projects across the state. These projects, on their own, can portray Lagos State as a global, standard city to watch out for. These are not mere words, they are visible to the eyes and by their standing, we are hopeful of a greater Lagos.
In the health sector, Sanwo-Olu revamped the General Hospitals, particularly our own Alimosho General Hospital, bringing them to the enviable height they now brag of. The School of Nursing, Igando is a testament to his outstanding work. And how can we forget to mention that Sanwo-Olu granted automatic employment to graduands of that school?
In Education, his administration reconstructed and commissioned new schools, not new classroom buildings, but new schools.
If you ask me, it will be a sign of gratitude for us to set aside our ethnic and political difference to support a man that has done so much for us.
Sanwo-Eko, Sanwo-Alimosho, we are solidly behind you! Come Saturday, Alimosho will be with you!
