FEW persons have walked a more tenacious and challenging path as Kaokab Ibraheem Aroworatira, but many would assume he is just another young man who has had it easy in life.

Born and raised within the Idimu community, Kaokab was raised in the home of the Chief Imam of the Idimu Province who happens to be his father. Indeed, Kaokab is a grassroots personage with a soft-spot for his own neighbours. This intelligent, articulate, and goal-oriented man wants to usher in the much-awaited “progressive wind of change” through socio-economic revival and political repositioning of the Alimosho constituency.

Kaokab’s family helped him nurture a gentle spirit and his community gave him a progressive mind. The community values instilled in K. K., as he’s fondly called, made him keep his Egbe-Idimu home close to his heart wherever he went to. Kaokab is now well equipped and empowered with an unstoppable sense of optimism that he has decided to devote his life to giving back to his community in every capacity.

One of such capacities is as a public servant or, more precisely, as a representative of his community. Kaokab has always given back to his community as a philanthropist and a good-natured neighbour. Now, he realises that more can be done for his Egbe-Idimu home community and Alimosho if it has true representation on the grand stage of the National Assembly. K. K. deems it fit to offer himself as a representative who will demonstrate the abilities and qualities of “a man of the people”. A man of his people, Kaokab strongly believes he understands his constituency enough to represent it because he lives as a common constituent indeed.

Today, this son of the local Idimu community and the larger Alimosho constituency is asking for support. Kaokab wants everyone to get involved with him and rewrite the story of the Alimosho community.

Kaokab Aroworatira wants to make timely and significant decisions for his constituency as a proactive representative. Promoting a responsive representation, K. K. wants to be that representative who will provide regular and comprehensive feedbacks on government policies and performance. Kaokab also believes that representatives can do more for their constituents on a regular basis so providing personal and direct support to struggling constituents is paramount to his work.

Alimosho still has its many challenges and Kaokab believes that now is the time to make strong decisions or legislations that will usher in stronger local economies, safer communities, progressive people, a more respected Alimosho, and a higher standard of living for constituents.

Kaokab Ibraheem Aroworatira is a proud indigene of the Egbe-Idimu community who wants to bring the face of federal representation closer to Alimosho.
