SENATOR Solomon Adeola popularly known as YAYI, the lawmaker representing Lagos West on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has said he is fulfilling his 2019 electoral promises on water projects.
Speaking during a visit to some of the water projects he facilitated in the 2020 budget in Agege and Ifako-Ijaiye local governments, the senator said, so far, six solar-powered boreholes had been completed, inaugurated and used by constituents in six local governments out of 10 councils in Lagos West Senatorial District.
The boreholes with six-metre steel stanchion tanks, 10 million cubic litres capacity tanks, five million cubic litres per hour mini water treatment plants and multiple delivery points at the base have been completed and are in use in Alimosho, Ikeja, Agege, Mushin, Ifako-Ijaiye and Oshodi-Isolo local governments.
