THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon has presented the proposed Year 2022 budget to the Alimosho Legislative Council, under the authority of Hon. Ahmed Obadina as the leader of the House.
Sulaimon presented the budget yesterday, Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
While speaking at the budget presentation event, the Council boss promised to ensure transparency in governance by constantly consulting the Legislators for every constitutional matters beginning with seeking their yearly approval before the execution of a budget by presenting it as an Appropriation bill.
Sulaimon affirmed that the appropriation bill focuses on infrastructural development of the council area, adding that all uncompleted projects in the Local Government Area will be targeted for immediate completion.
He also pleaded for a speedy passage of the bill in order to prevent an administrative vacuum.
The leader of the House, Hon Ahmed Obadina, on his part, appreciated the Chairman's efforts in ensuring the positive development of Alimosho LGA.
He also assured the Chairman of the House's support towards the development of Alimosho LGA.
