DOGMAN Pet World, a veterinary outfit based in Alimosho and founded by Kizito Nwogu, is about to launch its state-of-the-art animal care laboratory, the first-of-its-kind in Alimosho.
The animal care laboratory about ready to roll is said to feature modern facility and a mobile emergency unit which would allow the staff of the establishment to provide the animal-patients with quality and compassionate care either in the examination room, or during home service delivery.
Nwogu, CEO of Dogman Pet World, said while briefing AlimoshoToday on his lauded initiative, "We are a mixed animal care services outfit providing care to both small animal patients and livestock. Our animal health practitioners and support staff pride themselves on caring for every patient as if it were their own.
"We rescue animals from accidents, injury, cruelty and neglect. Our officers are trained to rescue animals in need or in danger and offer them safety and treatment at our lab centre until they can be re-homed or released."
He added, "there is no charge to the caller, unless they are requesting the ambulance for their personal animal. The owner is responsible for all costs involved in recovering and treating the animal in need if he owns the animal.
"Generally, we offer animal health services, animal protection, 24 hours emergency animal rescue, dog retainer services, pet grooming, pet boarding and sitting services, and dog training.
"We also have a Pet Mart where our clients can get all their animal care needs, and a Pet Library where one can get access to animal care knowledge".
Dogman Pet World was founded in 2013.
