VEHICULAR and human movement were restricted on Monday as Alimosho youths continued with the #EndSARS protests.

The protesters blocked major roads in the Alimosho Local Government from as early as 6:00 am.

Many commuters had to trek long distances as the protests led to a heavy gridlock on the Iyana Iba-Egbeda axis.

At Power Line Bus-Stop, some youths were seen in front of Area M Police Station, Idimu Division barricading the roads with woods, thereby hindering commuters from having a free passage.

At about 10:00 am, scores of youths also gathered at the Obadore Bus-Stop, Igando and Iyana Ipaja under bridge, also blocking vehicular movement.

When AlimoshoToday spoke with one of the road users, she lamented the effect of the protest on office workers.

She said: "What they are doing is good, but then, it is really affecting us.

"I am sure I might end up going back home instead of the office because there is no road to pass through."
