Dr (Mrs) Idiat Oluranti Adebule, the former Deputy-Governor of Lagos State and the Lagos West Senatorial District candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has bagged a Personality Outstanding Award from the prestigious Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo Lagos.
Reports reaching Alimoshotoday state that the award is in recognition of the sacrifices and contributions of the Ojo Federal Constituency-born educationist to the institution.
While presenting the award, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Tunji-Bello represented by Prof. Wahab Elias, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, LASU, said; “It gives me great pleasure and honour to be present on this day on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor.
“The recipient of the award, Her Excellency, Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule, has shown the institution that she's indeed a product of this citadel in various ways, as contributions, support and help which we have always received from her have been marvellous and commendable.
“We are grateful for your immense contributions and support to the institution; we all wish you well in your endeavours and great success in your upcoming election.”
It should be noted that Dr Adebule is a graduate of LASU and a lecturer at the higher institution of learning before she was appointed as the Secretary to the State Government, the Commissioner for Education, and then the Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
