THE member of the Federal House of Representatives representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, in a bid to ensure the rehabilitation of the dilapidated roads in the Federal Housing Estate, in the Constituency (Shagari Estate and Gowon Estate), had a discussion on the floor of the Green Chamber.
During the Plenary of the House of Representatives on Thursday, February 15, 2024, Ayuba explained his motion paper on the rehabilitation of the dilapidated roads in the Federal Housing Estates to the Chairman of the Rules and Business Committee, Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, in the Green Chamber.
He also held a discussion with the Deputy Majority Leader, Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, on the same subject matter.
Note that the Gowon Estate and Federal Low-Cost Housing Estate, also known as Shagari Estate, in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, were constructed as part of plans by the Federal Government to cater for housing deficits and infrastructural inadequacies in Nigeria and managed by the Federal Housing Authority under its mandate of development and management of real estate on both a commercial and portable basis in all states of the Federation.
