ALIMOSHOTODAY has partnered with Okun Alimosho to promote the culture of Alimosho amongst the residents of Alimosho Local Government.

This was made known when Okun Alimosho officials paid a working visit to AlimoshoToday.

Okun Alimosho is a socio-cultural organisation aimed at inculcating a marketable African experience of art, music and culture in every product and services in the community.

The team led by the Chief Operating Officer, Babátúndé Olúwáṣèyí Just-Joe Adeola, had in attendance the Director of Media & IT Michael Opara and Director of Agriculture, Sonupe Babatunde Carlo.

According to Carlo: " Why we are so much concerned about the state of our culture, our traditions and how much we young ones have forgotten about these things is because of our system of education, basically the western education. I realised that we are far behind and the only reason we are far behind is because our culture irritates us."

Carlo further emphasised on the beauty of our culture while stressing the fact that Alimosho has varieties of culture and a lot of social groups including Alimosho FC, Alimosho Bikers and Alimosho Dog Lovers who are doing things to put Alimosho Local Government on the globe.

Adeola also said that Okun Alimosho has different programmes that will be used to showcase Alimosho to the limelight including Alimosho Festival and Alimosho's Got Talent.

The publisher of AlimoshoToday, Dupe Akinola, lauded the initiative and said that Alimosho Today is also aimed at putting Alimosho on the spotlight through its media publications, hence pledging support to Okun Alimosho's initiative.
